Jungle Love. Albina Galeeva modern photographer

In the parents’ garage I found letters and photos of foreigners with whom I was corresponded from the late 1990s to the beginning of the 2000s. Acquaintance with foreigners was initiated by my mother when I was young. Some correspondence led to romantic dates and travels. All relationships came to the end like those before them.

Twenty years later, the representation of relationships has changed, as well as ways of acquaintance. As means of communication evolve, borders has disappeared and communication speeds up. At first, this story is a chain of romantic encounters, but, ultimately the reflection on the development of technology and the way they influence our perception of intimacy.
